Yes! Cross stitching is a great way to begin your needlework hobby. With cross stitch, it’s primarily only one stitch, so once you nail down the stitch, it will be hard to mess up the design. We also have cross stitch kits that contain everything you need in one kit, so you don’t need to worry about buying the correct thread, hoop, needle, etc, if you are just starting out. 

What Do You Need to Get Started with Cross Stitching?

First, pick a cross stitch pattern you’d like to stitch, and which fabric you want to work on such as aida or evenweave linen. Each pattern has suggested thread colors, but you can choose your own colors if you’d like. Once your pattern, fabric, and threads are selected, you’ll just need an embroidery hoop, needle, and scissors to get started.
