We can finish your needlework project into a wide variety of items including: ornaments, pillows, stockings, zip pouches, stand ups, purses and bags, patches, coasters, belts, rugs, wall hangings, bracelets, brooches, custom boxes, and so much more! Don't hesitate to reach out about an idea you've dreamed up.
We can also help you with the cleaning and restoration of vintage projects, or with remaking projects you want to update. Don't worry, we've seen all kinds of finishing methods, and we have been able to disassemble and remake them into something beautiful.
Custom acrylics such as trays and boxes are available and can be made to fit almost any design.
If you prefer wood, we can also custom build trays, boxes, and even foot stools or end tables.

Please fill out one of the finishing forms at the bottom of this page based on the type of project you want made. If you don't see a form that fits your project, you can fill out the miscellaneous form, and we'll contact you to discuss details.
Please fill out the form completely, being as detailed as possible. Your finishing will be created using the selections and details you provide.
Be sure to include all of your contact information including your name, address, e-mail, and phone number. Please take care to write neatly so that all info is legible. Do not include any credit card information or enclose cash or checks with the forms.
At the top of this page, you will see a link to our fabrics. Click through to see what fabrics we have available for your finishing. You can also send in your own fabric. We recommend medium weight, non-stretch materials. There may be an additional cost if your fabric requires additional prep for use in your project.
If you need help putting your finishing order together, write "Please contact me to discuss details" in the notes section or contact the finishing team directly at: finishing@rittenhouseneedlepoint.com or 215-563-4566. They will arrange time to consult with you via email, phone, or video call per your preference.
Remove your projects from stretcher bars, frames, or hoops. Also remove any needles, threaders, pins, needle minders, etc.
Place each of your needlework projects with their finishing form in separate ziploc bags to prevent the possibility of water damage in transit. We recommend rolling larger canvases but folding is also ok.
We strongly encourage you to send your finishing to us using insured UPS or Fedex shipments for more reliable real-time tracking. Rittenhouse Needlepoint is not responsible for packages lost by the carrier.
Or bring your projects into the shop, and we'll help you complete the forms. Stop by any time, no appointment necessary.
After filling out your forms and sending in your projects, you will receive an email confirming receipt within one business day of delivery (Monday-Friday). If you dropped off in store, your first email will be the deposit invoice (see below).
Expect up to 5 business days (Monday-Friday), for us to complete our internal processes. When complete, we will either contact you if have requested help with your finishing, or we will send you a deposit invoice via email.
The deposit on your finishing projects will include 50% of the project cost plus the cost of any threads needed for custom cording. You can click through the deposit email to pay your invoice using a variety of digital payment methods. We do not accept checks, and we only accept cash payment for in-person transactions in the shop.
Please review the invoice carefully as no changes may be made after the deposit is paid and production starts. Contact us if you need to make changes before paying the deposit. Invoices are due within 14 days of receipt. Production begin after the deposit is paid. Finishing orders are non-refundable.
After your project is finished, we will email you the final invoice for the remaining due amount.
Once your remaining due is paid, we will have your project ready for pick up, or ship it out to you within 2 business days of payment (Monday-Friday).
Finishing projects are shipped back to you by UPS, so we cannot ship to P.O. boxes.
If you choose to pick up in store, your finishing must be picked up within 30 days of notification that it is complete.
