This is a printed needlepoint canvas by Loïc Lusnia from Canevas Fatal featuring a whimsical jungle rodeo scene with a skeleton riding a spotted leopard through lush tropical foliage. Vibrant shades of pink, green, gold, and deep purple create a playful fantasy atmosphere full of adventure and imagination. Perfect for lovers of quirky art, jungle themes, and contemporary needlepoint, this eye catching canvas offers a fun stitching project packed with personality and storytelling charm.
Printed on versatile 10/20 Penelope canvas, this design can be stitched using large stitches, small stitches, or a combination of both. Because the canvas may shift when worked at different stitch sizes, we strongly recommend using stretcher bars and maintaining consistent tension for the best results.
When stitched with large stitches, the canvas is comparable to 12M. When stitched with small stitches, it is comparable to 18M stitching, although the canvas itself is technically 20-count. For small stitches, any thread suitable for 18M can be used. For large stitches, most threads typically used on 13M will provide light to medium coverage. For fuller coverage, we recommend Rainbow Gallery Silk Lamé Braid 13, Silk & Ivory Trio, Caron Collection Watercolours, or Appleton Tapestry Wool.
