Classic Colorworks cotton floss in Purple Aster uses 100% Egyptian cotton embroidery floss that is hand dyed with beautiful results. This 6 ply floss is popular for use in cross stitch, embroidery and needlepoint. On cross stitch and embroidery projects, you will typically use 1-2 plies. For needlepoint, it is recommended to use 4 plies on 18 mesh, and 6-8 plies on 13 mesh.
