This is an acrylic oval box from Morgan Julia Designs. It features Penny Linn's patented design that uses magnets to securely close the needlework compartment, allowing you to open it and swap out your piece whenever the mood strikes you. While the lid fits well on the base, it is not secured to the base by magnets. This makes it an easy lift off lid allowing quick access to the contents of the box.
The needlework compartment fits a 7" x 3" oval canvas or other stitched piece like the Morgan Julia Designs pill series (Chill, Happy, Sleepy). The compartment has about a 1/4 inch allowance on all sides to accommodate a piece that is finished with cording.
