The opening fits a 3" x 3" canvas or other piece of needlework. When trimming your needlework down, be sure to leave about a 1/2 inch allowance on each side that can be tucked under the sides of the opening. Then simply peel off the paper from the 3M adhesive, put your needlework in, and tuck the edges in.
