Radiance Metallics 13 - 755 Heirloom

This is a metallic thread from Radiance Metallics 13 in the color Heirloom. A vibrant baby blue metallic with a brilliant luminous sheen, this smooth twisted thread is wound on a spool and designed to bring elegant shimmer and depth to needlepoint, embroidery, and decorative stitching projects. Made from trilobal polyester, Radiance reflects light beautifully to create sparkle and eye catching dimension.

Radiance Metallics 13 provides light coverage on 13 mesh canvas and is great for open stitch backgrounds to add a refined shimmer. Stitch with a full coverage base thread, then stitch Radiance over the top to acheive sparkle and coverage on 13 mesh.

Despite the name, we recommend Radiance Metallics 13 for use on 18 mesh where it will give you full coverage more similiar to the coverage of Silk Lame Braid 18.

Radiance Metallics 13 is an excellent choice for accents, outlines, highlights, lettering, and decorative details.

Because Radiance Metallics has no stretch or give, the use of stretcher bars is highly recommended to maintain proper canvas tension and keep your project square. Use as is to add baby blue metallic sparkle and polished texture to any needlepoint canvas. We also recommend using wax or thread gloss at the ends to prevent fraying and to help it stick.
