Vintage 1930s-40s Floral 9 Patch Patchwork Quilt

From the 1930s-40s, the vintage quilt features 9 patch blocks that alternate with solid blocks in a lovely red and blue floral. It is made of flour sack cloth and other cottons. So many charming florals, stripes and plaids in an overall palette of blue and red. It is a lightweight quilt with a thin inner layer of batting. It was machine sewn and hand quilted. It is very broken in with areas of thinning, a few open seams, and yellowing and light spots typical for age.

• All quilts are vintage ranging from 45 to 95 years old. They have been well-loved and will show wear from use which may include: loose/open seams, shattered patches, small holes or tears, fading, spots.

• All of our quilts, unless noted, have been hand washed with mild detergent and laid out to dry. They are washed to refresh them, not with the goal of spot or stain lightening/removal. You may be able to lighten stains with additional treatment, but it's unlikely that you will be able to completely remove stains of this age.
• All measurements should be viewed as approximate with a margin of error of 1 inch.
