From the 1970s, this patchwork quilt is made of denim in a variety of medium and dark washes with red gingham backing. It is hand tied with hand sewn binding but the top is machine pieced. Every other patch features a great vintage patch. There is a wonderful variety of patches from feed and fertilizer brands, to Boy Scouts, to gas stations and so much more. One of my favorites is a snowmobile patch from the yellowstone area. Typical of denim quilts, this one is heavy weight due largely to the denim, but also has a fluffy inner layer of batting. It is in overall good vintage condition free of holes, shattering and noticeable spots, with only a couple loose seams. This quilt has not been washed.
