Yamato Rice Paste Glue

Yamato Rice Paste Glue is a high quality Japanese starch paste. Commonly used for paper crafts, it dries clear and does not cause paper to wrinkle. It also dries clear on fabrics and can be washed clean if desired.

For needlework, it can be applied to the thread on the back of the canvas to tame and secure threads ends. This can be especially helpful if you are using rayon threads or metallic threads. It can also be applied along the edges of your needlework fabric to stop any fraying.

Naturally acid free and non-toxic, this paste is often used as an alternative to Fray Check.
